How to Deal with Being a Lone Hustler

Posted
lone hustler

I saw something the other day that caught my attention. A friend mentioned how she gets no support from friends and family when it comes to building her income.

They mock and shame her, saying that she’s wasting her time and should just be happy with a “real” job.

Sounds like envy to me, what do you think?

After seeing this I had to jump on the blog to tell you a few things, just in case you are going through something similar.

Sometimes, the people closest to you are the ones that support you the least. This is a sad but often real fact of life. This is where your mental strength needs to shine, so you can overcome the disappointment and not let it stop you from pushing forward.

Your goals are NOT stupid or a waste of time. You CAN make this work. You DON’T need any negativity to stand in your way.

If there are toxic people in your life discouraging you, I say, “screw them”. Yes, this goes for family members too.

Blood is thicker than water, but I’d rather have clean water than dirty blood.

Don’t forget that support comes in many forms. If you ever need to talk to someone, you can always reach out to me.

Take care of yourself,

-Ty
